# Download artwork: SVG, PNG and EPS

Once a code is saved, its downloads are next to the preview.

| File | Best for | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| **SVG** | Print and designers | Scalable: sharp at any size, from a badge to a banner. |
| **PNG** | Screens, slides, websites, email | 512, 1024, 2048 or 4096 pixels wide. A caption makes the image taller. |
| **EPS** | Print shops that ask for it | Plain codes only: not available with a logo, text or caption. Use the SVG instead. |

Files are named after the short code, such as `qr-x7k2pq.svg`, so you can tell them apart.

 Tip

Downloads use the design shown in the preview, even before you save a change. Save first if you want the code to stay that way.

A new code can't be downloaded until it's created. Likewise, if you change a code's [short link](https://qr4events.co.uk/help/short-links), save it before downloading, so the artwork contains the new link.
