# Change where a code goes

You can change a code's destination as often as you like. The printed code stays the same.

1. In **Your codes**, find the code. Use **Search codes** if you have a lot of them.
2. Open the **⋯** menu on its row and select **Edit**.
3. Under **Where it goes**, change the **Web address**.
4. Select **Save**.

The change is immediate: the next person to scan goes to the new address.

 Tip

To change the destination at a set time, such as when doors open, use [scheduled destinations](https://qr4events.co.uk/help/schedule-destinations) instead of editing on the day.

## Campaign tags (UTM)

If you use Google Analytics or something similar, turn on **Add campaign tags (UTM)**. The builder fills in:

- **Source**: the code's name
- **Medium**: `qr`
- **Campaign**: the event

You can change any of them, and add **Content**. The line **Scans open:** shows the full address people will land on, tags included. Your analytics then shows these visits as coming from the code.
