## 1. Prepare your spreadsheet

Make a spreadsheet with these columns, in this order:

| Name | Destination | Event | Short code |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stand A12 - Acme Ltd | https://example.com/acme | Spring Expo 2027 | |
| Stand B03 - Brightside | https://example.com/brightside | Spring Expo 2027 | |

- **Name** and **Destination** are required. The destination must be a full web address starting with `https://`.
- **Event** and **Short code** are optional. Leave Short code empty and we'll make one up. See [short links](https://qr4events.co.uk/help/short-links) for the rules.
- A first row of headings is fine. It's skipped if its first cell says "Name".

On the **Bulk codes** page, **Download a template** gives you a file in the right format.

Save the spreadsheet as **CSV** (in Excel: File > Save As > CSV UTF-8).

## 2. Make the codes

1. Go to **Bulk codes**.
2. Choose your CSV file (under 1 MB), or paste the rows into the box.
3. Select **Make the codes**.

You'll see how many codes were made. Any rows that couldn't be made are listed with the reason, such as a missing web address or a short code that's taken. Fix those rows and import just them again.

You can't make more codes than are left on your plan. The page tells you how many that is.

Bulk codes use the standard black-and-white design, with no scheduled changes. Edit any code afterwards to change it.

## 3. Download the artwork

Select **Download ZIP** under **Download all your artwork**. You get every code as an SVG file, in folders by event, named after the code and its short code.
